Yes, you can test ride a Fatboy ebike at our Malaga showroom Monday to Friday. You must be over 18 years of age (please bring ID) or with a guardian for ages 16 – 17 years.
It is important that you check your local laws for the latest regulations on ebikes (EPAC).
Some points to note at the time of this writing; you do not require a license to ride a Fatboy electric bike, however the rider must be over 16 years of age. The ebike must be speed limited to 25km/hr and restricted use. You must abide by local laws such as wearing helmets, riding within speed limits in set areas etc.
Fatboy e-bikes are restricted to 25km/h to meet public speed limit regulations. However, they can be unlocked to 55km/h for use on private property only.
The range is approximately 50 – 90km using pedal assist. This varies depending on various factors including the number of occupants and terrain.
Fatboy e-bikes use a 20AH SAMSUNG Lithium-ion Battery with a life span of 1000+ charges.
A Fatboy E-Bike weighs approximately 40kg.
